What to Bring
Shotgun - We recommend 12 gauge semi-auto or pump shotguns that hold no more than 3 shells (has a plug).
Shotgun Chokes - We try to get the ducks in close to the decoys so a Full choke is not necessarily needed. We recommend a Modified choke but Improved Cylinder and Full are also acceptable.
Shotshells - Your choice of shotshells but it must be non-toxic shot (Steel, Bismuth, Tungsten). We recommend shot sizes #4-#2 for steel and bismuth and #7 for tungsten.
Waders - Almost all hunts will be conducted over water and waders are highly recommended to keep you dry and warm. You will be contacted specifically if a duck hunt will not require waders.
Snacks - Whatever snacks you would like to bring with you during the duck hunt.
Drinks - Water, soda, energy drinks, coffee. Please DO NOT bring alcoholic beverages on hunts. Save it for after the hunt is completed. If we find you have alcoholic beverages on the hunt, you will be politely asked to leave without a refund.
Clothes fit for the weather (if its cold layer up) - Being in Texas, the weather is highly variable. Be aware that the weather can be 70 degrees one day and 30 degrees the next. Please check the weather ahead of your hunt and dress accordingly.
Hunting License (Federal Duck Stamp, Public Land permit if on a public hunt) - We request a physical copy be carried with you on all hunts. Licenses must be shown to guides before the hunt begins.
Cooler- You will want to bring a cooler with ice to transport your birds back home
